Judge Throws Paul Manafort, Trump’s Former Campaign Manager, in Jail to ‘Sweat’ Him

Federal Judge Amy Berman, an Obama appointee, jailed Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, on charges of obstructing justice by trying to contact two former business associates in order to influence them as potential witnesses. His trial date is set for September.  Manafort is charged with money laundering in a scheme that pre-dates his meeting Trump. Tucker Carlson says that the Mueller team is trying to “sweat” Manafort into testifying against Trump, and, by throwing him in jail, they are also guilty of trying to influence Manafort, who is a witness.
