CIA Operatives to Run for Congress in 2018

For many years, it has been rumored that CIA operatives have been placed into sensitive positions in what normally is considered the private sector – particularly the media, education, and law enforcement. Now, the World Socialist Web Site reports that a record-setting number of ex-CIA operatives are openly seeking Democratic nominations for Congress in the 2018 midterm elections. The potential influx of military-intelligence personnel openly moving into legislatures has no precedent in US political history.

Of the 102 primary elections that will choose Democratic nominees this year, 44 will include candidates with a military-intelligence or State-Department background. The Deep State already has great influence in the private sector but now wants to move out of the shadow and control politics directly. [ President Trump has expressed a desire to create a new intelligence agency that will be loyal to him and not part of the Deep State. However, since he has loaded up his present administration with Deep State hangovers from the Clinton era, why should we expect a different pattern for yet one more secret, unaccountable intelligence agency?] -GEG

WSWS reports:

An extraordinary number of former intelligence and military operatives from the CIA, Pentagon, National Security Council and State Department are seeking nomination as Democratic candidates for Congress in the 2018 midterm elections. The potential influx of military-intelligence personnel into the legislature has no precedent in US political history.

If the Democrats capture a majority in the House of Representatives on November 6, as widely predicted, candidates drawn from the military-intelligence apparatus will comprise as many as half of the new Democratic members of Congress. They will hold the balance of power in the lower chamber of Congress. […]

One quarter of all the Democratic challengers in competitive House districts have military-intelligence, State Department or NSC backgrounds. This is by far the largest subcategory of Democratic candidates. National security operatives (57) outnumber state and local government officials (45), lawyers (35), corporate executives, businessmen and wealthy individuals (30) and other professionals (19) among the candidates for Democratic congressional nominations.

Of the 102 primary elections to choose the Democratic nominees in these competitive districts, 44 involve candidates with a military-intelligence or State Department background, with 11 districts having two such candidates, and one district having three. In the majority of contests, the military-intelligence candidates seem likely to win the Democratic nomination, and, if the Democrats win in the general election, would enter Congress as new members of the House of Representatives.

Yet, where does this new development tie in with the Deep State’s war on President Trump?

Kim Dotcom hits the nail squarely on the head.

“The Deep State no longer wants to rely on unreliable puppets. They want to run politics directly now,” the internet entrepreneur tweeted in response to the report Saturday.

24 American States Have Proposed Campus ‘Free Speech’ Laws

March 21, 2018 ZeroHedge 0

Colleges and universities are not bound by Constitution – only the federal government is. “Congress shall pass no law” to restrict speech. Schools are not bound by that. However, most colleges and universities receive federal money, so it would be an easy thing to require that they comply with the Constitution if they want the money – but federal politicians apparently are not interested in taking that stand. China Expands Program to Rate Citizen Behavior and Punish Those with Low Scores

March 21, 2018 Daily Caller 0

Chinese authorities have been using a “social credit” system that rates citizens to determine if they may purchase plane or train tickets. The system rates users on personal characteristics, behavior and preference, social relationships. It draws data from a person’s shopping history, use of free time, and complaints from others. It has the appearance of being impartial and based on public demand but, in reality, it is merely a sophisticated method of engineering human behavior. […]

March 21, 2018 Gateway Pundit 0

Hundreds of homeless people will be relocated to tent cities in high-end communities that include Irvine, Huntington Beach, and Laguna Niguel. [It is predictable that, the more money is taken from working people with homes to pay for unemployed people without homes, the fewer working people there will be and the more homeless there will be. The process will continue until everyone will be dependent on the state for homes and food and health care and jobs and …. In other words, classical Communism will be upon us.] […]

Facebook Allowed Democrats to Harvest Its Data to Bolster Their Email List

March 21, 2018 Breitbart 0

Carol Davidsen, the former media director for the Obama campaign in 2012, revealed that Democrats were able to “suck out the entire social graph” or network of friends from individuals on Facebook, which they used to bolster their email lists. Davidsen says that, when Facebook found out, did nothing to stop the process (which they could have done) because they liked what was being done with the names. […]

Brexit Betrayed by UK Government of Globalists

March 20, 2018 Breitbart 0

The UK government has betrayed the Brexit-voting British public by stalling any changes until 2022, agreeing to obey all EU laws and keep the borders open to EU immigrants, granting them full rights – forever. [It’s as though the Brexit vote never happened. The globalists are confident that by 2022 everything will be so chaotic that the nation will have no choice but to beg to be re-admitted to the EU, supposedly as the only solution to their woes. Now it’s up to the Brits to fight back. We shall see.] […]
