Conrado Miranda, a former senior software engineer for Twitter, says that Twitter acts in accordance with Terms-of-Service agreements with foreign governments – notably China – and routinely bans users at their request. He also revealed that China often will hack Twitter if it fails to comply with the request.
As many as 100 college campuses are providing places where students can report other students for ‘bias incidents’ in which they say something “offensive” on social media. [The known effect of this activity is the isolation of individuals, the creation of mistrust, the inability to form into groups capable of challenging authority, and the creation of a volunteer secret police. It’s pure collectivism.]
The tradition of a close-knit family has been shattered by the collectivist mindset that now dominates the British culture. Nine-million people, 14% of the population, are without regular contact with close friends or family, which makes them lonely, indeed. A study of this problem concludes it has been brought about by welfare, anti-family feminism, and public housing. The government is launching a massive program to solve this problem. [How? By more of the same that caused it, of course.]
Canadian professor of psychology, Dr. Jordan Peterson, while being interviewed about his defense of free speech, is asked by a TV host: “Why should your right to freedom of speech trump a trans person’s right not to be offended?” He responded: “Because in order to be able to think, you have to risk being offensive. Look at the conversation we’re having right now. You’re certainly willing to risk offending me in the pursuit of truth. Why should you have the right to do that?” The TV host was left with no response.
