How to Stop Antifa Violence – Really

YouTube personality, Tree of Logic, says that many states have anti-mask laws that, if enforced, would stop most of the violence committed by Antifa. Members of Antifa hide their identities while committing serious crimes, including assault, destruction of property, use of chemical agents, and throwing bags of human excrement at their opposition. –GEG

Most Antifa members wear masks to prevent being identified while committing crimes and are far less likely to do so when unmasked.  Youtube personality, Tree of Logic, says that mayors have authority over police departments and can order the enforcement of anti-mask laws.  If a mayor fails to do so, especially after being called upon to do so by the public, the mayor and the city can be sued for failure to enforce the law.  She lists the states that have anti-mask laws and recommends flooding mayors with emails and phone calls demanding the enforcement of anti-mask laws be enforced.

Sports Announcer Pulled from University of Virginia Game Because His Name Is Robert Lee

The ESPN network confirmed that it moved an Asian-American announcer off the University of Virginia’s home-opener football game because his name is Robert Lee.  Even though Lee is a common Asian name, Reuters reported that the anchor actually is the namesake of General Lee, leader of the Confederate Army during the War Between the States. –GEG

On Tuesday ESPN announced they pulled “Robert Lee” from announcing the upcoming University of Virginia football game because his name is Robert Lee.

Robert Lee is Asian.

Retuers then tweeted out that Robert Lee was General Robert E. Lee’s “doppelganger.”

Reuters Tweeted that Antifa Rioters at the Trump Rally in Phoenix were “Peace Activists”

Reuters was admonished by other Twitter users for its gross mischaracterization of Antifa rioters as “peace activists” when video clearly shows them instigating violence.  The news agency deleted the tweet and admitted it was inaccurate. –GEG

On Tuesday night Antifa protesters once again attacked police and Trump supporters outside of the Trump rally in Phoenix.

Professors Begin Open Support for Antifa on College Campuses

Two university professors created the Campus Antifascist Network, an activist organization for leftist students and faculty. Bill Mullen, a professor of American Studies at Purdue University and David Palumbo-Liu, a professor of Comparative Literature at Stanford University, say they advocate violence if it is in ‘defense’ of those who are threatened by fascists. [Video coverage of Antifa street warfare make it clear that the mere presence of opposition of any kind is considered as a “threat by Fascists”. Many University officials will pretend they do not know this and will defend the professors.] –GEG

  • Two professors, one from Purdue University and the other from Stanford University, are assembling a “Campus Antifascist Network” (CAN) to serve as a “big tent” for “anyone committed to fighting fascism.”
  • Despite the reputation Antifa groups have cultivated for employing violence to shut down opposing speakers, the professors insist that they only support “self-defense” by “those who are being threatened by fascists.”

Two professors are organizing a campus Antifa (Anti-Fascist Action) organization with the goal of confronting groups it considers fascist and “driv[ing] racists off campuses.

According to Inside Higher Ed, the Campus Antifascist Network (CAN) was organized by Purdue University Professor Bill Mullen and Stanford University Professor David Palumbo-Liu with the intention of serving as a “big tent” for “anyone committed to fighting fascism.”

“Since Trump’s election, fascists, neo-fascists, and their allies have used blatantly Islamophobic, anti-semitic, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, and ableist messaging and iconography to recruit to their ranks and intimidate students, faculty, and staff,” Palumbo-Liu wrote in the group’s invitation letter.

“The time to take action is now,” he maintained, saying, “we call on all interested individuals and organizations to support or join the Campus Antifascist Network (CAN).”

In an interview with Campus Reform, Palumbo-Liu reiterated that “the groups that concern [CAN] the most are fascist in the sense they espouse a hateful ideology that targets particular groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, [or] sexuality, and wish to dominate, exclude, drive out, and harm members of those groups with force and violence.”

As part of its efforts, CAN provides a syllabus which labels fascism as a “historical expression of capitalism’s tendency to dominate the poor, working class, and oppressed people.”

Mullen told IHE that the network has grown to 200 members, including students and faculty, in the wake of the events in Charlottesville, Virginia, adding that CAN will “build large, unified demonstrations against fascists on campuses” and protect groups that are vulnerable to attack.

While Mullen and Palumbo-Liu do not advocate direct violence, Antifa has been criticized for engaging in violent protests around the country, including riots against conservative speakers.

When asked about violent elements within Antifa, Palumbo-Liu told IHE that CAN would reject some elements of the movement and would only “advocate self-defense and defense in various forms of those who are being threatened by fascists.”

Palumbo-Liu likewise told Campus Reform that “physically attacking speakers is not [within the law],” and therefore is not something that his organization promotes.

“The issue really is not speech, but rather the kinds of actions a group is known to engage in that precisely impinge upon others’ free speech, academic freedom, and civil liberties,” he said.

“We are organizing to protect members of campus communities from groups that come to campus to provoke physical confrontations, purposefully destroy property, invade individuals’ privacy.”

Hope Not Hate, a Leftist Group in the UK, Is Coming to the US

Hope not Hate (HnH) is registered as a charity in the UK but is just another support group for Communist causes. In the UK, it has targeted public figures such as Nigel Farage of the UK Independent Party and right-wing journalist, Katie Hopkins.  They also run campaigns to demonize anyone who opposes the collectivist agenda. HnH is partly funded by the UK government. –GEG

The UK far-left group Hope not Hate (HnH) claim that they are expanding into the United States and have promised to bring “undercover operatives” to the country.

Hope not Hate released the information on Twitter Tuesday afternoon urging followers to follow their new U.S. branch and donate to the project located at a new website address. The U.S. branch of the group tweeted out a picture from the Charlottesville torch march with the caption: “You bring your tiki torches. We’ll bring our undercover operatives.”

Hope not Hate are a registered charity in the UK and are synonymous with far-left causes and have traditionally targeted far-right figures and groups like the British National Party.

Yet more recently the group has set its sights on groups like political party UKIP and has pursued campaigns against former leader Nigel Farage and right-wing journalist Katie Hopkins. Former UKIP parliamentary candidate Peter Harris claimed that HnH had acted as “attack dogs” for Labour MP Jon Cruddas during this year’s general election.

Muslim reformer Dr. Zuhdi Jasser has called the group “Orwellian” saying: “They’re basically doing the same thing as [Osama] Bin Laden and [Abu Bakr] Baghdadi [the leader] of ISIS… and the Saudi government.”

Late last year, HnH was slammed after a study by the Economist magazine showed the group inflating the number of “hate speech” incidents on Twitter following the murder of MP Jo Cox by as much as 3,000 per cent.

The U.S. Hope not Hate website is sparse, other than asking for donations. The registered address for the group is in the UK, meaning that it is likely not registered in the U.S. as a charity.

The site does not go into detail on whether or not its “undercover operatives” will be from the U.S. or flown in from the UK.

HnH is also partly funded by the UK government and one of its directors is sitting Labour MP Ruth Smeeth. The announcement of the new operatives may raise questions over the creation of a foreign-funded spy network, operating in the United States.

Jury Defends Four Militia Men Involved in 2014 Bundy Ranch Standoff

Nevada: At the conclusion of the trial of four militia men who participated in the 2014 standoff against the feds, the jury acquitted two of them of all ten charges and delivered not-guilty findings on most of the charges against the other two. The Bundy Ranch standoff occurred when the feds seized 1,000 head of cattle and demanded $1 million for grazing rights in a land dispute between the two parties.  Defense attorneys argued that the men were exercising their constitutional rights to protest under the First Amendment and the right to bear arms under the Second Amendment. Bundy himself still awaits trial as federal prosecutors now regroup from the setback. –GEG

A federal jury in Las Vegas refused Tuesday to convict four defendants who were retried on accusations that they threatened and assaulted federal agents by wielding assault weapons in a 2014 confrontation to stop a cattle roundup near the Nevada ranch of states’ rights figure Cliven Bundy.

In a stunning setback to federal prosecutors planning to try the Bundy family patriarch and two adult sons later this year, the jury acquitted Ricky Lovelien and Steven Stewart of all 10 charges, and delivered not-guilty findings on most charges against Scott Drexler and Eric Parker.

More than 30 defendants’ supporters in the courtroom broke into applause after Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro ordered Lovelien and Stewart freed immediately and set Wednesday morning hearings to decide if Parker and Drexler should remain jailed pending a government decision whether to seek a third trial.

“Random people off the streets, these jurors, they told the government again that we’re not going to put up with tyranny,” said a John Lamb, a Montana resident who attended almost all the five weeks of trial, which began with jury selection July 10.

“They’ve been tried twice and found not guilty,” Bundy family matriarch Carol Bundy said outside court. “We the people are not guilty.”

A first trial earlier this year lasted two months and ended in April with a different jury finding two defendants — Gregory Burleson of Phoenix and Todd Engel of Idaho — guilty of some charges but failing to reach verdicts against Drexler, Parker, Lovelien and Stewart.

Prosecutors characterized the six as the least culpable of 19 co-defendants arrested in early 2016 and charged in the case, including Bundy family members. With the release of Lovelien and Stewart, 17 are still in federal custody.

The current jury deliberated four full days after more than 20 days of testimony. The six men and six women returned no verdicts on four charges against Parker — assault on a federal officer, threatening a federal officer and two related counts of use of a firearm — and also hung on charges of assault on a federal officer and brandishing a firearm against Drexler. Navarro declared a mistrial on those counts.

None of the defendants was found guilty of a key conspiracy charge alleging that they plotted with Bundy family members to form a self-styled militia and prevent the lawful enforcement of multiple court orders to remove Bundy cattle from arid desert rangeland in what is now the Gold Butte National Monument.

Bundy stopped paying grazing fees decades ago, saying he refused to recognize federal authority over public land where he said his family grazed cattle since the early 1900s. The dispute has roots a nearly half-century fight over public lands in Nevada and the West, where the federal government controls vast expanses of land.

Acting U.S. Attorney Steven Myhre declined immediate comment on the verdicts. He said he’d make a determination later whether to seek a third trial for Parker and Drexler.

Stewart became emotional and reached for tissues as the jury findings were read. He and Lovelien were later taken with their lawyers, Richard Tanasi and Shawn Perez, to be processed by U.S. marshals for release.

Stewart, 38, lives in Hailey, Idaho. Lovelien, 54, is from Westville, Oklahoma, but he led a militia group called Montana State Defense Force.

All four men were photographed carrying assault-style weapons during the standoff near the Nevada town of Bunkerville, about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas. Each had faced the possibility of decades in federal prison if they were convicted.

Jurors saw images of Parker and Drexler in prone shooting positions looking down their rifles through slots in the concrete barrier of an Interstate 15 freeway overpass toward heavily armed federal agents guarding a corral of cows below.

Defense attorneys noted that no shots were fired and no one was injured. They cast the tense standoff with more than 100 men, women and children in the potential crossfire as an ultimately peaceful protest involving people upset about aggressive tactics used by federal land managers against Bundy family members.

Chief Rabbi of Barcelona Urges Jews in Europe to Move to Israel to Escape Chaos Caused by Muslim Immigration

The chief rabbi of Barcelona, Spain, says that Europe is lost due to the endless stream of Muslim immigrants and the jihad that is being waged against ‘non-believers’.  A huge cache of illegal weapons was discovered in Spain earlier this year, and was covered up in the media, while the EU is working to disarm law-abiding citizens.  The rabbi is urging Jews living in Europe to move to Israel, which will not allow immigration and multiculturalism. –GEG

Charlottesville: Protesters Stormed Town Hall, Mayor Fled the Scene

Protesters broke up the Charlottesville city council meeting chanting and shouting in anger over the fact that the Mayer and the Council had granted a demonstration permit to an Alt-Right group on August 12th. On that date, the clash between alt Right and Alt Left groups left 19 people injured, and one woman was killed.  Mayor Mike Signer shut down the meeting and left, while a group carrying a banner that read “Blood on your hands,” stood on Council desks. –GEG

A Charlottesville City Council meeting spiraled into chaos as angry residents unloaded on city officials in the wake of last week’s deadly rally.

The Council met for the first time since the “Unite the Right” rally which turned deadly as white supremacists and Antifa groups clashed in a small Virginia park, leading to the death of Heather Heyer who was killed when a car was driven into a crowd of counter-protesters.

Monday’s meeting began normally but erupted when the rally was mentioned, as residents shouted down the mayor and City Council members and complained about the city’s response to the event, the New York Times reported.

Police forcibly removed three people, who were issued summonses and charged with disorderly conduct. But that only angered the crowd of about 100 who launched into chants of “Shame” and “Shut it down!”

Trump Breaks Campaign Pledge. Renews War in Afghanistan

President Trump announced that he will send US troops to Afghanistan, will give more autonomy to military leaders, will encourage Pakistan to join the fighting in Afghanistan, and will continue to follow Obama’s withdrawal strategy (which is no withdrawal at all).  Ron Paul says that Trump has abandoned his campaign pledge to wind down our wars in the Middle East and that, in terms of foreign policy, the deep state has won. [Trump told us from the start that he can work with anyone and that he is good at making deals. Now we know what his side of the deal was.] –GEG

President Trump said his gut tells him to get out of Afghanistan, but after giving it some more thought — with the help of his generals — he’s decided to expand US military actions rather than to wind the war down. Were the conclusions leading him to make this decision based on solid analysis and fact? Not at all! The only thing really “new” about this new strategy is that it is now official policy to never tell what US objectives are in the country!

A Black Lives Matter Leader Delivers A List of Demands Designed to Prod White People into Violence So A Real Race War Can Unfold

Chanelle Helm, the co-founder and core organizer of Black Lives Matter Louisville, prepared a list of demands for white people to turn over their homes and property to black or brown people. [The demands are so outrageous and insulting that, clearly, they are not serious. They are designed to outrage white people and prod some of them into a violent reaction. Race conflict leading to martial law is the true goal of George Soros and the Deep State who are funding and orchestrating the Alt Left and the Alt Right.] –GEG

Some things I’m thinking about that should change (in that Southern, black grandmama voice):

1. White people, if you don’t have any descendants, will your property to a black or brown family. Preferably one that lives in generational poverty.

2. White people, if you’re inheriting property you intend to sell upon acceptance, give it to a black or brown family. You’re bound to make that money in some other white privileged way.

3. If you are a developer or realty owner of multi-family housing, build a sustainable complex in a black or brown blighted neighborhood and let black and brown people live in it for free.

4. White people, if you can afford to downsize, give up the home you own to a black or brown family. Preferably a family from generational poverty.

5. White people, if any of the people you intend to leave your property to are racists assholes, change the will, and will your property to a black or brown family. Preferably a family from generational poverty.

6. White people, re-budget your monthly so you can donate to black funds for land purchasing.

7. White people, especially white women (because this is yaw specialty — Nosey Jenny and Meddling Kathy), get a racist fired. Yaw know what the fuck they be saying. You are complicit when you ignore them. Get your boss fired cause they racist too.

8. Backing up No. 7, this should be easy but all those sheetless Klan, Nazi’s and Other lil’ dick-white men will all be returning to work. Get they ass fired. Call the police even: they look suspicious.

250,000 Have Signed Petition to Designate Antifa as Domestic Terror Group

The petition defines terrorism as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims” and compares Antifa to ISIS.  Because Antifa has been violent and several police officers have been killed as a result, the petition demands that the Pentagon be consistent and apply the law equally by declaring Antifa a terror group. –GEG

A petition urging the Trump administration to officially label Antifa a “terror group” has more than double the 100,000 signatures needed to merit a formal response from the White House.

The left-wing “anti-fascist” group has come under fire in the wake of the violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virgnia. Many have claimed that Antifa demonstrators played a significant role in the violent clashes in Charlottesville and at other events across the country.

As of Tuesday evening, more than 250,000 people had signed the petition, which states:

Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims”. This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations. AntiFa has earned this title due to its violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States. It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.

The US Commission on Civil Rights Condemned Violence from The Alt Right But Not from The Antifa Left

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights condemned violence from alt-right demonstrators in Charlottesville, Virginia, but voted down a proposal to also condemn violence from the far-left group, Antifa. The Commission decided that violence is acceptable if the political views of the perpetrators are acceptable. –GEG

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights was quick to condemn the white supremacists involved in the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, but they voted down a proposal to also condemn violence from the the far-left group Antifa.

In a vote to include Antifa in the official commission statement, four Democratic commissioners voted “no.” The Republican who proposed it, Gail Heriot, and the Republican who seconded the proposal, Peter Kirsanow, were the only two who voted “yes.”

“Though we support peaceful protest and note that most of the counter-demonstrators were peaceful, we condemn violence by anyone, including violence by so-called Antifa demonstrators,” Heriot proposed, according to the Washington Examiner.

On “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Kirsanow said the commission unanimously agreed that white nationalists and neo-Nazis should be condemned for their role in the violence, but the Democratic commissioners resisted including Antifa in the resolution because of their own political leanings.
