Ohio Shocker: 793 Million Opioid Drug Doses Prescribed in One Year

The state government of Ohio has filed a lawsuit against five drug companies: accusing them of unlawful and unethical marketing practices. These include pursuing undue influence over medical spokesmen and publishing false information. These practices have led to a serious opioid-addiction problem in Ohio. In 2012, a staggering 793 million doses of opioid drugs were prescribed, which is an average of 68 pills for each person in the state. -GEG

Here’s why zombies are real

The state government of Ohio has filed a lawsuit against five drug companies: Teva, Allergen, Johnson & Johnson, Purdue, and Endo.

The suit accuses these companies of unlawful marketing practices that have led to Ohio’s opioid addiction “problem.”

Here’s the big one: the suit states that, in 2012, a staggering 793 million doses of opioid drugs were prescribed to Ohio citizens. That translates to an average of 68 pills for each person in Ohio.

The suit accuses the drug makers of conspiring to influence opinion leaders and various medical groups. This marketing blitz resulted in deceptive treatment guidelines, false information delivered at medical conferences, and misleading “science” articles—all designed to minimize the dire effects of opioids.

Well, yes, these painkillers (e.g., OxyContin) do kill pain. In the process, they also creation addiction and turn minds to mush.

Apparently, Ohio is pretty much in a collective trance state. We’re talking Zombification. 793 million opioid doses in one year.

Don’t forget the doctors who prescribe the drugs. As a group, they can’t care about their patients’ state of mind. Just load people up to the eyeballs with chemical pacification.

If you think this over-prescription epidemic corresponds to the actual amount of physical pain Ohio citizens are experiencing, think again. The drugs are obviously being handed out for other reasons: to sustain and feed addiction; to “treat depression”; to “manage dissatisfaction with life.” In other words, drug companies are promoting an ongoing profit bonanza for themselves. The human consequences don’t matter.

Saudi Arabia and Other Arab States Isolate Qatar in Battle over Natural Gas

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates severed diplomatic ties to Qatar, saying the country fuels terrorism and funds al-Qaeda groups such as ISIS.  Ironically, Saudi Arabia also has funded ISIS. The real conflict, however, is over resources. Qatar shares a large natural gas field with Iran, which is allied with Russia.  Qatar now is seeking closer relations with Russia, and this has raised concern in the US that this might scuttle plans for the US-backed pipeline that requires the overthrow of Syria (also a Russian ally).  President Trump, during his recent trip to the Middle East, called upon ‘all nations of conscience’ to isolate Iran, and he signed a $100 billion arms deal with the Saudis. [World War Three already is underway – and likely will escalate. It’s not about freedom or democracy. It’s about oil.] –GEG

According to the official narrative, the reason for the latest Gulf crisis in which a coalition of Saudi-led states cut off diplomatic and economic ties with Qatar, is because – to everyone’s “stunned amazement” – Qatar was funding terrorists, and after Trump’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia in which he urged a crackdown on financial support of terrorism, and also following the FT’s report that Qatar has directly provided $1 billion in funding to Iran and al-Qaeda spinoffs, Saudi Arabia finally had had enough of its “rogue” neighbor, which in recent years had made ideologically unacceptable overtures toward both Shia Iran and Russia.

However, as often happens, the official narrative is traditionally a convenient smokescreen from the real underlying tensions.

The real reason behind the diplomatic fallout may be far simpler, and once again has to do with a long-running and controversial topic, namely Qatar’s regional natural gas dominance.

Recall that many have speculated (with evidence going back as far back as 2012) that one of the reasons for the long-running Syria proxy war was nothing more complex than competing gas pipelines, with Qatar eager to pass its own pipeline, connecting Europe to its vast natural gas deposits, however as that would put Gazprom’s monopoly of European LNG supply in jeopardy, Russia had been firmly, and violently, against this strategy from the beginning and explains Putin’s firm support of the Assad regime and the Kremlin’s desire to prevent the replacement of the Syrian government with a puppet regime.

Now, in a separate analysis, Bloomberg also debunks the “official narrative” behind the Gulf crisis and suggests that Saudi Arabia’s isolation of Qatar, “and the dispute’s long past and likely lingering future are best explained by natural gas.

The reasons for nat gas as the source of discord are numerous and start in 1995 “when the tiny desert peninsula was about to make its first shipment of liquid natural gas from the world’s largest reservoir. The offshore North Field, which provides virtually all of Qatar’s gas, is shared with Iran, Saudi Arabia’s hated rival.”

To be sure, Qatar has shown a remarkable ability to shift its ideological allegiance, with the FT reporting as recently as 2013, that initially Qatar was a staunch supporter, backer and financier of the Syrian rebels, tasked to topple the Assad regime, a process which could culminate with the creation of the much maligned trans-Syrian pipeline.

The tiny gas-rich state of Qatar has spent as much as $3bn over the past two years supporting the rebellion in Syria, far exceeding any other government, but is now being nudged aside by Saudi Arabia as the prime source of arms to rebels.

The cost of Qatar’s intervention, its latest push to back an Arab revolt, amounts to a fraction of its international investment portfolio. But its financial support for the revolution that has turned into a vicious civil war dramatically overshadows western backing for the opposition.

As the years passed, Qatar grew to comprehend that Russia would not allow its pipeline to traverse Syria, and as a result it strategically pivoted in a pro-Russia direction, and as we showed yesterday, Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund agreed last year to invest $2.7 billion in Russia’s state-run Rosneft Oil, even as Qatar is host of the largest US military base in the region, US Central Command. This particular pivot may have also added to fears that Qatar was becoming a far more active supporter of a Russia-Iran-Syria axis in the region, its recent financial and ideological support of Iran notwithstanding.

Poland: “No Muslim Immigration Means No Terror Attacks”

Polish Minister Ryszard Czarnecki defended his country’s refusal of Muslim migrants by saying that the only proven way to reduce Islamic terror attacks is to stop Muslim mass migration into the country.  He noted that the children of Islamic immigrants have been responsible for a large portion of ISIS-inspired attacks on European soil.  Poland and Hungary are refusing orders from the EU to accept Muslim migrants. -GEG

The only way to protect Poland from Islamic terror attacks is to not allow Muslims to migrate en masse, a British-born, senior MEP for the nation’s ruling party said on Monday.

“When it comes to reducing the chances of Poland being hit by [Islamist] terror attacks, the only proven method is to not allow in Muslim migrants,” Ryszard Czarnecki told local radio after an attack in London on Saturday killed seven and injured at least 48 others.

Noting the children of Islamic immigrants have been responsible for a large number of ISIS-inspired attacks on European soil, the London-born Law and Justice (PiS) MEP said Poland is “learning from the mistakes” of other nations in the West, and so refuses to “open [its] doors to Islamic migrants.”

Asked whether he thinks the politicians running Poland have any good advice on how to avoid terrorism for Britain, which has experienced three Jihadist attacks in three months, and other countries in Western Europe, Czarnecki said the country has “a very specific concept  — no Islamic immigrants.

“With regards to Britain, we have already told them on several occasions they need to deport, not tolerate, radical migrants.

“If a radical Muslim cleric in a mosque calls on his brothers in the faith … to fight the infidels, well, I think that there are grounds to expel such an imam.

“Fortunately, Poland does not make these mistakes that other countries have made when it comes to our immigration policy, and so we don’t have these headaches,” stated the MEP,who sits on the European Parliament’s foreign affairs committee.

Jailed NSA Leaker says: ‘Being White is Terrorism’. Draws Attention Away from DNC Corruption and Seth Rich Murder.

Sarah Leigh “Reality” Winner, the 25-year-old federal contractor who was arrested on Saturday for leaking classified information to the media, says: “Being white is terrorism.” She confessed to leaking a top-secret NSA document that allegedly deals with Russian hacking. There is reason to question both the leak and the arrest. Winner’s posts on social-media reveal that she is a radical leftist and an outspoken hater of Donald Trump, which may be her motive for releasing classified documents that, according to the media, show collusion between Trump and the Russians. So far, however, there have been no details released that actually support that claim. At this point, the primary effect of Winner’s arrest is yet another wave of anti-Trump ‘news’, and its timing tends to divert attention away from DNC corruption and the murder of Seth Rich. If she is let off the hook for her crime, it will be a dead giveaway that the event was staged for impact on public opinion. We shall see. –GEG

Her social media profiles show she’s a thoroughly brainwashed, far-left #Resistance activist who said Donald Trump is an “orange fascist” and “the most dangerous” person in the country.

She’s an ethnomasochist who believes “being white is terrorism.”
