US State Department and USAID Are Being Sued Because of $5-Million Of Taxpayers’ Money Given To George Soros’ Organization

Judicial Watch is suing the State Department and the US Agency for International Development to obtain records relating to $4.8 million in American taxpayer money that went to George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. Although the OSF says the money was used for praiseworthy causes, the truth can be seen in what the recipients of these funds actually do. Soros’ minions invariably become major players in organizing violent demonstrations and launching propaganda to topple national regimes that are in disfavor with the US ruling elite and international banks. –GEG

Judicial Watch said Wednesday it is suing the State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to get records showing nearly $5 million in American taxpayer money went to the Macedonian branch of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

The conservative watchdog group filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the State Department and USAID after both failed to respond to a Feb. 16 FOIA request seeking records related to grants or payment authorizations, records of communication between State Dept. or USAID officials and the Open Society Foundations. The group had also asked for responsive records of communication sent from Jess L. Baily, an Obama-appointee and former U.S. ambassador to Macedonia, and similar records of the political activities of the Open Society Foundation-Macedonia.

The USAID website reported that between Feb. 27, 2012, and Aug. 31, 2016, USAID gave $4.8 million in taxpayer money to Soros’ organization. The USAID’s website links to one of the Open Society Foundation websites, which says the project trained hundreds of young Macedonians “on topics such as freedom of association, youth policies, citizen initiatives, persuasive argumentation, and use of new media.”

“The Obama administration seemed to bust taxpayer budgets in an effort to fund the Soros operation,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The Trump State Department and USAID should get their act together and disclose the details of the Obama-Soros spigot.”

A State Department spokesperson told Fox News that “the Department does not comment on matters ‎under litigation.”

But an Open Society Foundations spokesperson told Fox News in a statement that: “The Open Society Foundations spends nearly a billion dollars of its own money a year promoting democracy, human rights and good governance around the world. Our local foundations administer a miniscule amount of US aid. When USAID chooses an Open Society national foundation to administer USAID funds — which go on to NGOs in the field — it is because we have a reputation for transparency, efficiency and professionalism. The work the Macedonia foundation supports has helped the Macedonian people by strengthening healthcare, education, community activism and journalism in the country — often in partnership with the European Union, the United States and the Macedonian government.”

The activities of Baily and USAID’s funding of Soros’ group came under Congressional scrutiny earlier this year. Rep. Christopher Smith, R-N.J., led a group of House lawmakers in writing to Baily demanding answers about whether U.S. tax dollars were being used to fund Soros projects in the small, conservative-led Balkan country of Macedonia. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, also expressed concerns about USAID money going to Soros’ Open Society Foundations as part of a broader concern that the U.S. embassy had been taking sides in party politics.

“I have received credible reports that, over the past few years, the U.S. mission to Macedonia has actively intervened in the party politics of Macedonia, as well as the shaping of its media environment and civil society, often favoring groups of one political persuasion over another,” Lee said in his January letter.

Bankers Shut Down Bulgaria’s Bitcoin Exchanges Last Week

December 15, 2017 Bitcoin.com 1

Bulgaria: Banks cracked down on Bitcoin exchanges last week by closing down the exchanges’ commercial-bank accounts and blocking them from obtaining national currencies. The exchanges pointed to bankers, not the government, as the source of the problem, although it is likely that the government would have prevented the banks from doing that to any other class of customers. According to independent news sources, the exchanges began restoring operations several days later. […]

California Lawmaker Introduces Resolution to Ban ‘Killer Robots’

December 15, 2017 InfoWars 0

The same governments we are asking to create a ban on killer robots will secretly develop them in spite of any ban. The military seldom worries about mere laws. All they have to do is claim that their efforts are for national security or world peace, and the people will acquiesce. That’s how we got the present killer-drone program. Since laws will never stop tyrants from developing more efficient weapons, our only hope is to create a political system that prevents tyrants from coming to power. […]

FCC Repeals Net Neutrality, Chairman Ajit Pai Becomes Target of Death Threats

December 15, 2017 InfoWars 0

The Federal Communications Commission voted to eliminate net neutrality rules. Chairman Pai believes that content providers should not be allowed to censor users and should follow the same rules applied to Internet Service Providers, such as Verizon and AT&T. Because of this position, Chairman Pai has become the target of numerous death threats. There were also protests at his house, and his children were identified on posters advising them their father is evil and that he murdered democracy. […]

California’s War on Guns Expands to a War on Ammo Beginning January 2018

December 14, 2017 Breitbart 0

A ban on the possession on bullets purchased out-of-state takes effect January 1, 2018. In 2019, everyone who buys ammunition in California will be required to undergo a background check like those currently required for firearm sales. [The plan is clear. Rather than direct confiscation of firearms, which is unconstitutional, would-be tyrants are gradually increasing rules, regulations, fees, and restrictions so that, eventually, firearms will be confiscated by assessments and red tape.] […]

Alabama: Court Allows the Destruction of Digital Voting Records – Outrageous!

December 14, 2017 Gateway Pundit 0

The day before the election, a Montgomery County Circuit Court issued an order directing Alabama election officials to preserve all digital ballot images created at polling places. Less than three hours later, the state Supreme Court granted a stay on the order, thus allowing the destruction of the records. Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill and Ed Packard, the state Administrator of Elections, were behind the request to trash the records. The Department of Homeland Security supported the quick destruction of voting records. This stinks to high heaven. […]

Bulgaria Acquired $3.6 Billion in Bitcoin After Organized Crime Bust

December 14, 2017 ZeroHedge 2

Bulgaria acquired 213,519 Bitcoin after an organized crime ring was busted for placing a virus into computers at the Customs office that allowed members of the ring to avoid import taxes on their cargo. The group converted its gains to Bitcoin, which now is valued at $3.6 billion. [It is not clear from this article how the government was able to confiscate the Bitcoin inasmuch as cryptocurrencies are supposed to be secure against theft or government seizure. If anyone can tell us how this was accomplished, we will share it with our readers.] […]

U.N. Warns of New Wave of Syrian Refugee into Europe if Aid Dries Up

December 14, 2017 Reuters 0

The UNHCR is calling out for more money to keep the refugees from flooding Europe. The unspoken message is clear: “Pay up or be sorry.” [Crime syndicates use extortion threats like this to sustain their cash flow. It’s called the Protection Racket. “This sure is a nice bar you have. It would be a pity if some hoodlums came in here and messed it up or set fire to it. We can protect you from that – and it will only cost you $500 per week.” The Protection Racket is well known at the UN syndicate.] […]

Another Terror Attack on New York by a ‘Chain-Migration’ Green-Card Holder

December 13, 2017 Breitbart 1

A Bangladesh-born Muslim man, Akayed Ullah, was arrested for trying to bomb the New York Port Authority building, but the device strapped to his body exploded prematurely and only injured him. There was panic in the tunnel, and three other people were injured. Ullah told authorities “They’ve been bombing in my country, and I wanted to do damage here.” Ullah entered the US in 2011 as a foreign relative in the chain-migration program. Chain migration allows new immigrants to the U.S. to bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives with them. […]

Press Secretary Sanders Tells a Reporter to Get Her Mind out of the Gutter Regarding Trump Tweet

December 13, 2017 White House press 0

Democrat Senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, has called for President Trump to resign over the provably false ‘sexual misconduct’ allegations against him. In his Tweet, Trump responded: “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer, and someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump.” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders shut down a reporter who tried to make accusations of sexism against Trump based on the phrase “would do anything”. Sanders suggested that people should get their minds out of the gutter. […]

Alabama Democrat, Doug Jones, Defeats Judge Roy Moore in Race for Senate

December 13, 2017 Fox News 0

Alabama elected Democrat, Doug Jones, in a tight race against Judge Roy Moore who was the target of a smear campaign by Democrats, the media, late-night comics, and George Soros. The Senate is now composed of 51 Republicans and 49 Democrats. [That is not as important as it may seem, because there is no conflict between the two parties on most important issues, such as US sovereignty, the Federal Reserve. and privacy. The leaders of both parties support global government, fiat money, and the surveillance state.] […]

Ten Days at Jekyll Island, a novel by Patrea Patrick, tells the true story of a secret meeting held in November of 1910 on a privately owned resort island, the outcome of which drastically changed the world. It was at this meeting that a banking cartel was forged; a cartel that, three years later, would be issued a government charter to do business as The United States Federal Reserve System. You will discover why secrecy was essential. Based on historical documentation from The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin. (More)
