In Saudi Arabia, every adult woman must have a male guardian’s permission to travel, receive a higher education, or get married. Women are not allowed to drive cars. Their testimony in court is worth half of a man’s testimony. Yet, Saudi Arabia was elected to a UN commission, called The Status of Women, which supposedly promotes gender equality around the world. San Francisco Judge Blocks Trump’s Order To Stop Funding Sanctuary Cities

US District Judge, William Orrick, an Obama appointee, placed a block on Trump’s Executive Order intended to withhold funding from communities that protect illegal aliens from US immigration authorities. Orrick said Trump’s threats to withhold federal grants were ‘coercive’ and overly broad, violating the Constitution. He said that Congress, not the President, controls spending. [This is one of those areas in which there is truth on both sides.
